Aidan Crum –
I bought the Ecoflow River Pro over three months ago now and wanted to give it time and use the power station in the many situations I required it for before writing a review.
I had researched a lot of different power stations before deciding on the Ecoflow River Pro.
I am very impressed with how fast it charged from the outlet in my house from 0% to 80% in an hour.
The quality of the battery is great, it feels solid and well-built. It weighs 7.2kg
The interface is so simple, clearly displaying the current expected run time under the load it is outputting.
I also purchased the 160w solar panel and connected to my solar panel while running my iceless cooler.
Great function to be able to charge and power at the same time and the solar panel is definitely a great purchase.
Even here in Ireland on those “summer” days I’ve seen in pull up to 100 – 120 watts but even on those less summery days the solar panel was pulling in more power than I had been using.
It has 720 watt-hours that you can use at one time also an Eco Boost that gives you the time some extra power up to 1200w for a while.
It has all the connections for most of your needs from USB type-c , usb-b, 12v and two 3 pin sockets.
I also use it in my home office to power my HP laptop and two 24inch Lenovo monitors, there is a noise for from the fan but nothing that you can’t get used to but then again, I use headphones while working.
While using my campervan I use it to power a 700w coffee machine and have had no issues and more recently an omelette maker also at 700W.
We bought it especially for our campervan and wanted something to keep our devices charged, rather than relying on the van battery.
This means we can plug the cooler into the van while we drive and then top it up at camp using the River Pro. The screen shows a 9-hour run time which I am more than happy with.
Each output section has its own switch, which is great, it means I can leave things plugged into the unit and just come back and push the button to turn them on.
Overall I’m very happy with this product. It has handled everything that I have thrown at it either in my home office or campervan and has also come in handy at the family barbeques that we have had over the summer.
During the Euros 21 we also brought the TV out into the garden and the River Pro had no issue powering the TV, some lights and kept the beers cold in the freezer box.
All in all, I definitely made the right choice the situations where the battery came in handy are too numerous to list here, but it has made things easier in so many of these situations.
I also would like to thank Christina, from https://www.ecoflow.ie/ , for all her assistance, great service and fast delivery.
The packaging the battery and solar panel came in was also top quality.
Looking forward to taking this on many adventures.

Good efficiency and robust portability.
I was really happy with this solar panel.
I hooked it up to the river pro battery and it worked great.
I was getting 131watts ( End of March 2022) in the sun and 30-50watts if the sun went behind the clouds.
I was shocked to see how fast the solar panel charged the battery.
I had a fridge freezer (94watts) and freezer (134watts) running off the battery and at the end of the evening it was great to see it fully charged.
Granted if it’s a wet cloudy day this wouldn’t be viable but as long as i get some sun every 3rd day or so it charges enough to power the freezer (freezers work intermittently and only switch on when thermostat clicks in)
I hung mine on the vertical wall of the south facing house and it worked to 131watts.
No angle or moving it around or anything.
I had it up from ~ 0820-1900.
sun started at an acute angle and then hitting it straight on and then again acutely as the evening wore on. Wattage was 50w early on and quickly climbed to 80-90watts at ~1030 and 120w-130w during 1100-1500 and then 7watts plus in the evening.
The eyelets were great for hanging it up.
I could then keep the batteries indoors and then panel under the eaves to get the sun.

This is a fantastic Solar Panel. I got my River pro max a few months ago and decided to try out the solar panel with it. The amount of power it takes in is really impressive even in Irish skys. It makes a fantastic addition and really enables me to live off the grid on trips. I have even just left it on the dashboard of the camper and it charges at close to full power.
